WHAT IS COUNSELLING?
Counselling provides a safe space for you to talk about different issues that are or have had an emotional impact on you.
The therapist acts as a sounding board to listen, support, enable and work with you to talk about how you’re feeling and understanding your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Counselling can also help you understand why you feel a certain way and provide tools to help you cope.
FEES - MUCH DOES PRIVATE THERAPY COST?
At Fit for Life NI, we provide different payment options to suit our clients.
This will be explained in more detail at your first session.
INITIAL ASSESSMENT (1 hr)
£50.00
PAY AS YOU GO
£60.00 p/session
PACKAGE OPTION
8 sessions upfront payment
£50.00 p/session
£400.00
(x2 payments of £200.00 can be discussed and will be due on the 1st and 4th session)
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
It is recommended you attend counselling once a week for at least 6-8 weeks at the start of your treatment.
This will allow us to build the foundations of a trustworthy & professional relationship.
There isn’t a limit on how many sessions you attend for private counselling however, I will review this with you every couple of sessions to make sure you’re happy with the process and we will decide how to move forward together.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The following terms & conditions are in line with the Fit for Life NI clinical Policies.
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or fail to provide any notice at all, you will be subject to the cancellation fees stated below:
CANCELLATION - In the instance of late cancellation or failure to attend an appointment, you will be charge the full PAYG rate.
PACKAGE SESSION CANCELLATION - A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for session cancellation or rescheduling.
Late cancellation will result in loss of the session.
NO ATTENDANCE (Package sessions) - This will result in the session being completed with ‘no attendance’ resulting in a loss of a session.
REFUND POLICY
The following terms & conditions are in line with the Fit for Life NI clinical Policies.
PAY AS YOU GO:
Refunds for PAYG sessions will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following terms & conditions:
Requests for refunds must be made within 24 hours of the schedule appointment
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice to be eligible for a refund
Refunds may be provided for cancelled or rescheduled appointments based on individual circumstances, such as emergencies or sudden illness.
PACKAGE OFFERS:
Refunds for package offers are subject to the following terms & conditions:
All package offers are non-refundable
In the event of extenuating circumstances, such as a serious medical conditions or relocation, we may consider providing a refund or adjusting the package terms
To request a refund, please contact the Fit for Life NI Clinic via phone or email during business hours - we will review your request within 7 business days and if approved, we will process the refund within 14 business days using the original payment method.
